This mat makes beautiful, dainty lace! I used Sugar Veil and followed all the instructions. Watch all the YouTube videos and be patient! My bride was thrilled with her wedding cake!
This lace mat saved me! I bought it to use on my friend's cake. I had trouble baking it & had given up, cranked up the heat, baked 10 minutes & it popped right out & was flexible. I had planned on putting it on the bottom cake but the top cake was such a mess. This mat covered it right up! The head was made from Rice Krispie Treats, covered in ivory fondant & painted gold with dust & Everclear. Bottom tier is the new burgundy Satin Ice. The cake lace was Confectionary Lace in gold. Glad you got it back in stock! LOOOOVE it! https://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/3409634/kathleens-60th-buddha-cake
Not only is it a gorgeous design but I love the depth of the imprint. Even though the finished lace is extremely delicate looking the depth of the indentations allows for strength as well as easy removal. I've used other brand mats and have been very disappointed in them because of the lack of depth. Now I will only purchase Alan Tetreault's mats. I would love it if you would come up with a mat for cookies that would allow many (12-18) to be done at one time.
Great design
